The Clearwater Beach weather in August has daily averages in the upper 80°s and only drops into the low 80°s at night. The month of August is full of popup rain showers and thunderstorms. These will not ruin your vacation or even your day at the beach. These rain showers and thunderstorms usually last an hour or less, and the sun is usually back out in time for some more beach time before sunset. Please, stay safe and remember to get off the beach and head inside if you hear thunder.

Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival

Celebrate the beautiful Clearwater Beach sunsets each day on Pier 60. The festival starts two hours before sunset and stays open until two hours after sunset. The daily festival includes artisans, crafters, street performers, and a beautiful sunset view on Clearwater Beach.
