April is the second half of the Clearwater Beach spring break season, and the weather just keeps getting better! In April, the warm sun heats the Clearwater Beach area into the upper 70°s, and at night it only drops into the upper 60°s. Best of all, the ocean keeps warming up too and reaches an average of 73° each April.

Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival

Celebrate the beautiful Clearwater Beach sunsets each day on Pier 60. The festival starts two hours before sunset and stays open until two hours after sunset. The daily festival includes artisans, crafters, street performers, and a beautiful sunset view on Clearwater Beach – America’s #1 Beach!

The Market Marie is located at 710 Court Street in Downtown Clearwater, Florida – at the intersection of Court & Myrtle. The Market Marie is open on the second Saturday of each month from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival: April 8 – April 24, 2022

This year the Sugar Sand Festival’s theme is “SANDimals: an animal adventure.” Head down to the daily sunset festival at Pier 60 and check out these unique sand sculptures created by world-renowned sand sculpturists. The sand sculptures are on the beach but inside a 21,000 square foot cover to keep them safe from any wind or rain. There’s more than just sand sculptures to look at! Come join the festival for live music, sand sculpturing classes, fireworks, and kids’ play areas!
